One thing came up from todays e-lesson. When a pupil submits work and it's graded it is impossible for them to resubmit a piece of work for regrading, so the benefits of getting it in early are lost.
I looked this up on moodles help site and it seems that this is not an unknown issue. I will be looking to install a fix on los alamos soon.

I spoke to a guy at the conference on Friday about this and we had a damn good chat about moodle and content (he sold moodle content actually - I suggested that we get the school to buy some for the economics department if they wish to get on board as their content was actually very good)
Anyway, I got sidetracked again. The issue of resubmission has actually only become a glitch on release of moodle 1.8 and actually caught the attention of Martin Dougiemas, who has himself requested that a fix be released. It looks like we will have to wait until this new fix becomes available before we can claim to allow resubmission
